Representation of Egyptian Chamber of Commerce in Paphos

A representation of Egyptian businessmen led by the Vice-President of the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce Ahmed Abdel Wahed met with the President and Director of the Paphos Chamber of Commerce and Industry respectively, Andreas Demetriades and Kendeas Zabyrinis, In-Cyprus reports.

The President of the Paphos Chamber, Demetriades welcomed the Egyptian representation and analysed the business relations between Cyprus and Egypt(imports and exports), the developmental and economic facts regarding Cyprus and Paphos, and the potential for economic growth, along with major works and investment opportunities in the private sector. He also mentioned the plans and incentives offered by the Cypriot government regarding gaining Cypriot citizenship through investments, along with other matters of common interest with an emphasis towards promoting business relations between the two sides.

The businessmen from Egypt then expressed their interest in trade agreements and especially in certain products and services of interest to them. The two Chambers expressed a common interest in continuing and strengthening their relations.
