Paphos The Best Choice for Overseas Property Buyers

Property sales continue to grow for the seventh consecutive month, both from the domestic market as well as from the overseas markets.

The largest increase was shown in Paphos and Limassol. Regarding the sales from the overseas market, Paphos has quite a variance from the rest of the cities with a market share of 30% then follows Limassol with 25% and Larnaca comes with 17%.

Also Paphos continues to have the lead in purchase contracts by foreign buyers recorded at the Department of Lands and Registry by 41% in comparison to Limassol which follows with 25%. Famagusta and Nicosia don’t seem to easily attract overseas buyers.

These massive property purchases from foreign investors in Paphos were derived due to the granting residence permits which value € 300.000 and over but mostly also due to the impressive natural environment, the attractive areas and climate, but certainly also the existence of large development companies that have create stunning projects with amenities, facilities and services that raise the quality of lifestyle throughout the region.

Only just recently, we have seen the large investment on the coastal area of Kissonerga by an Asian Investment Company along with Leptos Group of companies, which just goes to show that there is plenty of confidence and positive essence not only from common buyers but also from large foreign organizations towards Paphos.
