Planting trees and adding to the flora and fauna of the Paphos area is part of the Leptos Group’s strategy to enhance the natural environment. We all need regular reminders of our connection with nature and our planet. This act is fundamental. The health of our planet is essential to our own health and wellbeing. Trees play an essential role in justifying the impact of climate change. Planting trees is one of the most important things we can do to contribute to the health of the planet.
Present at the Tree Planting event was his Grace Bishop of Paphos Georgios, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nicos Christodoulides , political parties, schools and various organisations from all over Cyprus.
Nature lovers and environmental enthusiasts along with their families also joined in on the fun activities of the day.
We seek and expect the support of our country’s social collectives, and of all those who dare to dream a green, sustainable Cyprus.
